Membership into PMES falls under the following five categories:
1. Individual Members. Members who are at least 21 years of age, who have obtained a bachelor’s degree, and based on a thorough review of their CVs and work experience, have been continuously practicing M&E for the past three years; or intermittently for a total of 5 years. Regular members are required to pursue continuous learning, as prescribed by the board and approved by the PMES members.
2. Institutional Members. Corporations, partnerships, associations, NGOs, and other type of enterprise that, after a thorough review by the membership committee, have been found to be continuously engaged in M&E practice as an institution for the past three years, or intermittently for a total of 5 years. Institutional members are entitled to two member-slots in PMES. The names of those who will occupy the slots must be endorsed by the PMES membership committee and approved by the board at the beginning of each year.
3. International Individual Members. Non-Filipino applicants who are at least 21 years of age, residents of the Philippines and working for international organisations, who have obtained at least a bachelor’s degree, and (based on a thorough review of their CVs) have been continuously practicing M&E for the past three years, or intermittently for a total of 5 years.
4. International Institutional Members. Non-Filipino institutional applicants operating in the Philippines (corporations, partnerships, associations, NGOs, etc.) that, after a thorough review by the membership committee, have been found to be continuously engaged in M&E practice as an institution for the past three years, or intermittently for a total of 5 years. International institutional members are entitled to one member-slot in PMES. The name of the institution’s representative who will occupy the slot must be endorsed by the PMES membership committee and approved by the board at the beginning of each year.
Membership in PMES is in the form of yearly and three-year membership options:
1. Individual members (resident of the Philippines)
- 1 year = PhP 1,000
- 3 years = PhP 2,000
- Lifetime = PhP 10,000
2. Institutional members
- 1 year = PhP 5,000
- 3 years = PhP 10,000
- Lifetime = PhP 50,000
3. International individual members (non-resident of the Philippines): USD 50
4. International institutional members: USD 125
