What is PMES?
Pilipinas Monitoring and Evaluation Society (PMES) is a registered industry association committed to the development of the monitoring and evaluation (M&E) profession in the Philippines. It began in August 2007 as an initiative of five M&E practitioners who sought to create an online network for exchanging ideas and information about M&E and the M&E profession in the country. The online network has since grown from its humble beginnings as MandEPilipinas@yahoogroups.com to becoming a formal association registered with the Philippines Securities and Exchange Commission. Membership in PMES is open to eligible individuals and organizations, public and private, directly and actively involved in M&E activities or are interested in the profession and practice of M&E. Expatriate residents are also welcome to apply for membership in the Society.
